When first contracted as Orlando Health’s portfolio-wide energy manager, ecoPreserve assisted in analyzing, verifying, and documenting the organization’s energy and sustainability goals. Energy audits and capital improvement planning were accomplished in collaboration with an interdepartmental team of management, staff, and contractors.
The consulting team uses a dashboard of utility analysis reports. The team’s monthly updates to the dashboard provide actionable information to executive leadership. Electricity, gas, water, and chilled water usage is clearly documented. Cost analysis and planning metrics are reported for individual facilities as well as companywide.
Orlando Health has achieved significant energy and sustainability benefits. Ongoing portfolio management by ecoPreserve supports the planning and prioritization of retro-commissioning, lighting retrofits, control system upgrades. These initiatives, and others, are yielding cost savings that are verified through dashboard reporting. These are consistent with Orlando Health’s energy and sustainability goals.
