Each year, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) brings education and inspiration to the sustainable buildings community through its Greenbuild International Conference and Expo. The 2019 event will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, on November 19th through 22nd. Conference sessions will explore green building best practices, resource conservation, and strategies to achieve resiliency in building and community planning.[1]

Local and regional USGBC chapters and groups offer educational programs, administer awards, and advocate for public policies that promote energy efficiency, resource conservation, and the development of tomorrow’s green communities.

The USGBC also promotes building efficiency and resiliency through its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building program. LEED v4.1, the current standard for designing, constructing, and operating green buildings will be featured at Greenbuild 2019.
