Quick wins for better breathing

Fresh air beats air fresheners

Who doesn’t like the aroma of cinnamon, apple, or vanilla? Unfortunately, the chemicals used to create these scents can aggravate allergies or worse. Keep it simple and steer away from artificial air fresheners.

Strategically increase ventilation

Airing out your office or residence is a good idea, but must be done strategically during allergy season. Avoid opening windows on windy days, when pollen counts may be higher.

Replace air filters on time

In commercial buildings as well as at home, dirty air filters lower air quality and HVAC efficiency by as much as 15%.

Choose safer cleaning products

The Safer Choice label on a cleaning product means that the ingredients, product performance, pH, and packaging have been reviewed by the EPA. More than 2,000 products have that label.
