LEED Charette & Stakeholder Engagement

One of the key steps in the LEED® certification process is establishing goals for the project and bringing all interested/involved parties together to brainstorm. Through a charrette, we discuss priorities and establish a shared vision, core objectives and environmental goals. The earlier a LEED® charrette is facilitated, the more likely the project will achieve sustainability success!

Our approach is to include all Project Stakeholders including the Owner, Executives, Facility Managers, Engineers, and key Community Members with an interest in the sustainability initiatives of the building. These “brainstorming” sessions identify Operation, Financial and Sustainability objectives as well as obstacles that might impede successful certification. At the conclusion of the charrette our team will provide a LEED® scorecard showing the LEED® credits that the charrette team has decided to pursue and a project plan that will serve as a guide throughout the project.
