As the founder of ecoPreserve, Alexa brings over 20 years of experience in the energy & electronics industry to help clients reach their business goals.

Her engineering career began in 1989 when she returned from a teaching position in China and began importing custom electronics. Soon after she was offered a position with one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing distributors in the country and began her training as the company’s Energy Specialist.

After earning her LEED Accreditation in 2008, Alexa wanted to share her experience with her colleagues and friends in the construction industry, so she began teach LEED AP prep classes in Orlando and Tampa. Her students' success in passing the exam (90%), she was off to her next project of taking the first building in downtown Orlando through LEED Certification.

Dubbed as the “Queen of Green”, Alexa currently spends much of her time helping organizations move their internal green teams toward measurable goals and increase revenue by leveraging strategic sustainability sales initiatives.
